Privacy
notice.
This website sets no cookies and contains no third-party tracking. It counts visits with its own small script that does not identify you, and you can switch that off. Beyond that, the only personal information we handle is what you choose to send us.
Who we are
Masqinox Steels Trading FZE, BC-1309673, C1 Building, Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. We decide how the personal information described below is handled. To reach us about anything on this page, write to info@masqinoxsteels.com.
What this website does not do
- No cookies are set — none at all, neither our own nor anyone else’s.
- There is no advertising, no tag manager, no third-party analytics, no session recording and no visitor profiling. We do not try to recognise you from one visit to the next.
- No page loads anything from another company’s servers. The text, styles, code, fonts and images all come from this website’s own address, so no other party is told that you visited.
Visit statistics
To see which pages are read and how people find us, a small script that is part of this website sends a short note to this website’s own address when you open a page, click a WhatsApp, telephone or email link, or download a document. The note contains:
- the page, and which kind of contact link or which document was clicked;
- the name of the website that linked you here (for example google.com), not the full address;
- campaign tags in the link you followed, if any (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign);
- whether your browser reports that it is being controlled by automation software — used only to label likely robot traffic.
Our server adds the time, a coarse device type (computer, phone, tablet) and the country, both estimated from your connection. Your IP address and your browser’s identification string are used for a moment to prevent abuse and to label robots, and are not stored with these notes. Each note carries a random number used only so that a resent note is not counted twice; it is not a visitor or session identifier.
What is kept in your browser. Notes not yet delivered wait in this tab’s session storage (masq_ev_pending) and are removed once delivered or when you close the tab. If you switch measurement off, your browser keeps that setting in local storage (masq_analytics_off). Neither identifies you.
Server logs. Separately, the service that delivers this website records each request it answers: the time, the page or file, the result, and the IP address and browser identification string of the request. These logs keep the site secure and count requests, including from robots that do not run scripts.
How long. The notes are deleted after 30 days and the server logs after 14 days; deletion is automatic and normally completes within a few days of that. Daily totals — counts only, with no IP addresses or browser strings — are kept for 13 months.
Who sees it. Only our company’s authorised management, in our own business system. It is not sold, not shared for advertising, and not combined with your enquiries.
Where. The notes and logs are processed in Amazon Web Services’ United States region; the daily totals are held in our business system in Amazon’s India region.
Switching it off. Measurement is off automatically if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal. You can also switch it off for this browser:
The current setting appears here when scripts are enabled.
Blocking scripts in your browser stops it too; the website works the same either way. There are no cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
The enquiry form
If you send us an enquiry, we receive what you typed:
- Your name, and your company if you give one
- Your email address
- Your telephone number, if you give one
- The product you selected, if any
- Your message
Two further pieces of information accompany any message sent over the internet, and we record them: the IP address the enquiry was sent from, and the identification string your browser supplies. We use them only to stop automated abuse of the form and to keep it working for genuine enquirers.
We use all of this to reply to you and to deal with your enquiry. We do not sell it, rent it, share it for advertising, or pass it to anyone outside the handling of that enquiry.
When an enquiry is sent successfully, our visit statistics record only that an enquiry was received and when — nothing you wrote.
How your enquiry reaches us
The form is handled by our own systems running on Amazon Web Services, and your enquiry is delivered to us by email at info@masqinoxsteels.com.
Where it is processed. The service that receives the form and sends that email runs in Amazon’s United States region, and a short-lived copy of the submission is held in Amazon’s India region. An enquiry sent from the UAE is therefore processed and stored outside the UAE. We state this plainly rather than leave it unsaid; if it matters to you, please telephone or email us instead of using the form.
How long we keep it
- Your enquiry email: kept in our mailbox for as long as we need it for our dealings with you and for any record-keeping the law requires of us.
- The automatic backup copy: deleted after 7 days. It exists only so that an enquiry is not lost if the email fails to send.
- The IP address held to limit abuse of the form: expires after 1 hour and is then removed automatically, normally within two days. For some mobile and home connections we hold the network prefix rather than the full address.
- Service logs: deleted after 30 days. They record whether each request was accepted or refused and, when a request is refused by these limits, the IP address or network prefix it came from. They do not contain your name, email address or message.
Anti-spam
To keep the form from being abused, your browser solves a small mathematical puzzle before the enquiry is sent. It runs entirely inside your own browser. It sets no cookie, identifies nothing about you, and involves no other company — it is used deliberately in place of a third-party CAPTCHA, which would have disclosed your visit to that provider.
When you choose to contact someone else
Some links on this website lead to other companies. Nothing is sent to them unless you click:
- WhatsApp. Our WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. If you use the Send via WhatsApp button on the contact page, the details you entered in the form — your name, company, email, telephone, product and message — are placed into the WhatsApp message. Meta then handles that message under its own privacy policy, not this one.
- Google Maps. The warehouse address in our footer links to Google Maps. Opening it is a visit to Google, governed by Google’s privacy policy.
In both cases that company will also see your IP address and browser identification, as it would for any website you open.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@masqinoxsteels.com and we will respond. If you would rather not use the form at all, telephone or email us directly — the details are on our contact page.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
